Nutrient agar
Beef extract: 10.0 g
Peptone: 10.0 g
NaCl: 5.0 g
Agar: 15.0 g
Distilled water: 1.0 L

Dissolve beef extract and peptone by heating in water and boil for 10 min.
Adjust to pH 7.2-7.4 and filter.
Add agar; autoclave at 121°C for 20 min.
